The new Senses Fail album, Renacer, is much heavier than back in their more emo days of Let it Enfold You and Still Searching.
I guess I didn’t realize how long ago I fell off of the Senses Fail bandwagon. Their last album that I specifically remember listening to in full was…

When I heard the first song off of Golden Youth’s debut album, Quiet Frame; Wild Light, my immediate thought was this is the kind of music I would expect to hear on HBO’s Girls, or in a local Starbucks.
Their sound is very dreamy, light and airy, and since “folk” and “indie” music is…
After doing a review of UK artist Maycomb’s recent album “I Opened My Heart to Caustic Things”, we asked them if they would be interested in doing an interview with us. Guitarist Jonathan Ward offered to sit down and respond to our questions..
How did you guys all meet and decide to…

All of these ideas involve starting discussions using social media, whether it’s Twitter, Tumblr, or Facebook. I broke down each discussion by the types of mattresses they are promoting.
Overall idea: Many people are becoming more focused on personal health, whether it’s diets, exercise, etc. Sleep is a core factor for being healthy and staying active so hopefully these discussions will engage current and potential customers into pursuing a healthier lifestyle and ultimately talking about and selling the product and the idea.
iComfort: Since many people wake up to radio alarms consider having people start a discussion about what songs they have on their iPod’s that best wakes them up in the morning and energizes them throughout the day (or while exercising).
Perfect Day iSeries: Anyone can have a “perfect day,” but have people describe their perfect night’s sleep (direct it towards busy parents with children). Or play off of the idea of daydreaming; have them discuss a typical perfect day or whatever fleeting thoughts they have that would make their day better.
Perfect Sleeper: We’re always hearing things about getting a good night’s rest and lots of “beauty sleep;” update the social media with useful beauty or fashion tips or healthy living/sleep tips via video or articles from around the web.
Smart Choice: Have people share what “smart choices” they’ve made throughout their day for a healthier lifestyle (diet, exercise, stress management, etc.) You can also update with videos of different healthy recipes and how to prepare them.
The purpose is to get people to engage in the social media updates and to keep the conversation going. Hopefully this will transpire into them talking about the page or the product.

Just want to commend Sam Raimi on being a genius. Oz was brilliant and I give him major kudos. Especially since Disney does not own the rights to the original (gasp, they don’t own something), he masterfully cut the corners and I loved every second of it.
Just thought everyone should know. Even James Franco gives it a thumbs up.

I had a dream last night that I met Justin Timberlake. Ironically, it’s his birthday today! It must be a sign.
…And yes, meeting him in my dream was just as awkward as it would be in real life.

Everyone makes the same argument about me and my passion for following celebrities, bands, etc. They say, “Why are you so concerned about the lives of the people who don’t care about you or know whether you’re there or not?” I’m going to start responding with, “It’s not like it’s any different with the “friends” I have in my life.” Sorry not sorry.
Not sure why I make so much effort to have plans with people for holidays such as New Years, when none of them are obviously making the the same effort for me. Sorry not sorry.
